About Nakaya

 Nakaya is a Los Angeles based Graphic Designer and curious creative across many mediums. Her design philosophy is largely inspired by female designers such as Irma Boom and Julia Hasting who revolutionized book design. She is a fan of minimalism, art and music, through which she received a BFA from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University.

She participated in Typography Summer School 2024 in Brooklyn, hosted by Other Means Studio and Fraser Muggeridge and completed Google’s UX Design Certification in 2023.
